The securities market is built on trust and transparency. Jonsson & Hall advises issuers, investors and financial undertakings on securities-trading rules, disclosure obligations and dealings with Nasdaq Iceland and the Central Bank of Iceland.

Specialised service and experience

Our advice may cover, among other things, the issuance of shares, bonds and derivatives, admission of securities to trading, prospectuses, the interplay with rules on market abuse and inside information, and issuers’ internal controls.

Jonsson & Hall handles dealings with supervisory authorities, major-holding (flagging) notifications, takeover bids and matters concerning the disclosure obligations of listed companies, as well as advice in connection with offerings and stock exchange listings.

Where disputes arise, we handle litigation on the interpretation of the rules, the liability of issuers and advisers, and the interplay with foreign rules implemented on the basis of the EEA Agreement.

Our aim is for our advice to support responsible decisions in the market and to help clients meet their obligations in an efficient and predictable manner.
